Meet a Healthcare Hero: Saskia

Meet Saskia! She is a Veterinary Medicine student and an all-around animal lover from Rancho Cucamonga, California, and she's one of our Healthcare Heroes!

We wanted to know more about Saskia, so we asked her to share some things about herself. Keep scrolling to learn all about her!

Question: What do you love about your profession?

Answer: "My favourite part of the veterinary profession is the client-doctor-patient relationships we form. Most of the appointments we see are for preventative care, and not just for illness. If you create a good relationship with a client, you'll get to treat the patient (their pet) throughout their life. You get to watch them grow and age, all while building a bond with the client. I love sharing pet-patients' passion for their pet's wellbeing!"

Question: Tell us something about yourself!

Answer: "I'm a huge outdoor enthusiast! Any free chance I get I'm usually out hiking with my boyfriend, dog, and cat! I also love traveling and exploring new destinations. I'm excited to bring my dog and cat camping with us for the first time sometime later in the year!"

Question: How do you relax after a long day at work?

Answer: "After a long day of work I like to come home and spend some time sitting outside with our pets, before heading in to watch some Netflix!"

Question: What do you love about Dr. Segal's Compression Socks?

Answer: "I love how comfortable and cute Dr. Segal's Compression Socks are! After a long day of work, my feet don't feel anywhere near as sore as when I used to wear normal socks. They've been a life changer!"
